Look Who is First Class!
Stevie B. - Stevie B. is this week’s first class student. Stevie is in Ms. Ehnert’s 4k class and loves learning about numbers! He enjoys reading books, writing new words, and doing art projects at school. Stevie is always following the class rules and helps others to do the same. At home, Stevie loves playing with animals, swinging on his swing set, and playing with his big sisters Olivia and Grace. Stevie has a great sense of humor, and keeps his class entertained with stories! Way to go Stevie!
Emily G. -This week’s first class student is Emily G. from Ms. Wehr’s 4K class. Congratulations Emily! Emily is a bright, curious and attentive student. Emily is an extremely good listener and if she has a question she looks for the answer and will ask for help when needed. Emily really enjoys being a classroom helper and has fun playing in the art and dramatic play areas of the classroom.
Valerie B. - Valerie B. is the First Class Student this week. She is a Kindergartener in Mrs. Siegman’s class who always comes to school with a smile and a positive attitude. Valerie is a great listener and always raises her hand when she has something to share. She is polite and kind. She is a positive role model for her classmates and always does her best work! Valerie enjoys school, the YMCA and playing with her big brother, Nico. Keep up the good work Valerie!!
Lucas W. -This week’s First Class Student is Lucas W.! Lucas is a 5K student in Mrs. Klapperich’s class and he has worked really hard this year to do his best in school. Lucas has put in extra practice time to become a great reader and writer. He enjoys math class and likes being challenged with more difficult work. Lucas is also very polite and likes to give compliments. Lucas enjoys playing with his brothers and friends. Plus, he also likes to play sports and video games. Keep up the good work Lucas!
Riley V. - Congratulations to Riley V. on being named Plat School's First Class Student of the Week. Riley is a wonderful, quiet, courteous girl who is a friend to everyone. She does her work carefully and neatly and on time. She loves art class, music class, and story time. She is becoming an excellent reader. She is a good listener and follows directions well in all her classes. She likes to color and play in her play house at home. She takes Irish dancing lessons and would like to be a make-up stylist when she grows up. Her classmates and teacher believe she is a super first grader and voted her to be student of the week!
Jack S. - Congratulations to Jack S. from Ms. Campbell’s 1st grade class on being this week’s first class student! Jack was picked to be the first class student because he is a hard worker and always tries his best during school. Jack follows directions and loves to participate in group discussions. Jack has become such a great reader this year because of all the time he spends reading at school and at home. Jack’s favorite thing about school is math. He loves to do addition. At home Jack likes to play with play-doh. Way to go Jack! Keep up your first class behavior!
Bekah E. -The First Class Student in Mrs. Adams’ second grade class is Bekah E. Bekah is such a wonderful second grade student. She is very sweet to all of her classmates. She always has a warm, friendly smile for everyone. Bekah is helpful to her teacher and classmates. She will pass out papers, take notes to the office and help out a friend with school work. Bekah is very responsible. She brings in her homework every day. She always does her best work at school. It is neat, complete and handed in on time. Bekah is a team player. She works well with all of her classmates. At home Bekah likes to spend time with her family. She has an older sister that she likes playing with. They enjoy playing horses, riding bikes, Barbies and computers. Bekah loves, loves, loves horses! Congratulations, Bekah!!! You are a first class student in every way!
Michael K.- Michael K. is the First Class student in Mrs. Brezonick's Class. This year is Michael's first year in the Richfield School District and he has adjusted extremely well. He enjoys spelling and loves playing soccer outside during recess. Michael is extremely hard-working. His work is always done on time and is very neat. He helps others in the class and is a good friend. At home, he enjoys riding his bike and spending time with his older brother and sister. He also helps his mom and dad do the dishes. Keep up the good work Michael.
Jamison D. - Congratulations to Jamison D. from Ms. Campbell’s first grade class for being Plat Elementary’s “First Class” student of the week! Jamison earned this award for his excellent work in music class. It is very clear that Jamison is becoming a fantastic reader because he is always excited to use his reading skills, even in music class. The first graders began using the music songbooks a few weeks ago, and Jamison is oftentimes seen eagerly exploring the books. He likes to sing and follow along with the lyrics of songs that he knows, and he also enjoys trying to figure out new songs using his reading skills. His high reading skills really help him to sing out with confidence in music class. Keep at it, Jamison

Lisa S. - The First Class Student of the week is Lisa S. She is in Mrs. Siegman's kindergarten class. She is a bright and creative student. She is always eager to help out and does her very best on all her assignments. Lisa is an avid reader and enjoys reading to everyone!! Her favorite class is art. She likes art because "I learn a lot and we get to draw pretty pictures".
Ryann V. - Ryann V. is the student of the week!!! Ryann always gives 110% and always tries her best at everything. She is kind to others, very understanding and accepting, a good sport, and is a great listener. Congratulations Ryann on being a First Class Student!!! Keep up the good work!!!
Turner M. - This week’s “First Class” student is Turner M. in Ms. Ehnert’s 4K class. Turner is always working hard to do his best in class. He really enjoys building new things out of blocks and magnet tiles. He shows great leadership qualities during school as he’s always listening and caring for others. At home Turner is a great big brother and role model for his younger brother and sister by teaching them new things. He also likes playing with his dad and snuggling with his mom. He loves watching football, playing video games, and eating chimichangas! Keep up the great work Turner!
Matthew M. - This week’s first class student is from Ms. Wehr’s 4K classroom, it is Matthew M. Matthew always practices good listening skills. He follows directions right away and is a hard worker. Matthew is always willing to help his school friends when they are having a difficult time. He helps his classmates with zipper or other times with reminders about the next step. Matthew is a talented artist, the pictures he colors look amazing. Congratulations Matthew!
Maci D. - This week’s first class student is Macie D. Macie is a Kindergarten student in Mrs. Siegman’s class. Macie is a first class student because she is kind to all of her classmates. She raises her hand when she has something to share and uses great manners. She always does her best on her work. Macie loves playing with her baby brother after school. Way to go Macie!
Mathew Z. -Congratulations to Matthew Z.! Matthew is the First Class Student at Plat School this week. He is a Kindergartener in Mrs. Klapperich’s class who always strives to do his best. Matthew has worked hard to accomplish many difficult tasks and I am proud of him for doing so. Matthew is also a great friend to his fellow classmates. He is polite, kind and sets a great example for his friends to follow. Way to go Matthew and keep up the great work!
Emma S. - Emma S. has been chosen student of the week in her first grade class at Plat School. She is a well liked first grader who is kind, helpful, and a very hard worker. She does her work carefully and neatly. She always returns her homework and library books on time. She loves reading and playing with her new dog. When she grows up she'd like to be a dentist. She is a "first class student" every day!
Evan M. - Evan M. is the first class student this week from Ms. Campbell’s first grade class. Evan was picked to be the first class student because of his hard work and good listening. Evan always tries his best in school and enjoys participating in group learning. He has worked very hard on his reading and is improving every day. Evan’s favorite subject in school is math. He likes to learn about subtraction. When Evan is not in school he likes to watch TV and play video games with his dad. Keep up the hard work and good listening Evan!
Emma B. -Emma B. is the First Class Student of the week in Mrs. Adams’ second grade class. Emma works hard in class to do her very best. She is a responsible student. Emma always finishes her work in a timely manner. She hands in her homework complete and signed daily. Emma helps out with many classroom tasks. She is a good friend to her classmates. Emma’s favorite subject is reading. Her favorite animal is a kitten. She loves to spend time with her family. One favorite family activity is swimming. I am proud of you, Emma. Keep working hard!
Jesse P. - Jesse P. is the First Class Student in Mrs. Brezonick's 2nd Grade Class. He has really worked hard so far this year. Jesse studies hard to do his best. He challenges himself to earn challenge words every week for spelling. He is a great role model and makes good choices in and out of the classroom. He has great problem solving skills and helps others in the class get along. He loves to play dodge ball. He likes math and science. At home, he enjoys playing basketball and football. He likes playing with his brothers also. Great job - Jesse, keep up the good work!
Molly C. - Please congratulate Molly C. from Mrs. Klapperich’s kindergarten class for being our “First Class” student of the week! Molly earned this award for her wonderful work in music class. If you haven’t heard, Molly has a fantastic singing voice. She uses her beautiful, loud singing voice during every single song in music class, and she can often be seen singing with a big smile on her face. This is especially true when we are singing her favorite Plat Winter Concert song, Time of Love, which is a song about what makes the month of December so special. Molly is looking forward to the Plat Winter Concert, and we hope that you are too! Great job Molly, keep it up!
Devan P. -This week’s first class student is Devan P. He is in Mrs. Siegman’s kindergarten class. He is a bright student, who is willing to try new things. Devan is very helpful, often volunteering to clean up and help the teacher. Art is one of his favorite subjects and he is very creative. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is a joy to have in class.
Mason W. - Congratulations Mason W. for being my first class student of the week!!! Mason always works hard in physical education and he has excellent sportsmanship. Mason is always willing to help someone who needs it and never has to be reminded of what he is supposed to be doing. Thanks for all the hard work Mason, keep it up!!!
Makenzie P. -This week’s First Class student is Makenzie P. in Ms. Ehnert’s 4k class! Makenzie enjoys practicing her letters in school and also going to the gym. At home, Makenzie loves to color, practice her letters and spend time outside! Makenzie sets a good example by being polite and caring to everyone. Way to go Makenzie!
Jackson N. - This week’s first class student is Jackson N. from Ms. Wehr's 4K class. Jackson is a wonderful role model! He enjoys choice time and he often plays with blocks or cars. He works with other students to build roads and buildings for the cars. Jackson's favorite part of 4K is Gym time. He is excellent at listening and following directions. Keep up the good work Jackson!
Nicholas and Tanner A. - This week's First Class Students are Nicholas and Tanner A.! Nicholas is a 5K student in Mrs. Klapperich's class and Tanner is in Mrs. Siegman's 5K class. They are both very well behaved during class when they remember to raise their hands before speaking. Plus, they always use good manners by remembering to say please and thank you. The boys love trucks, tractors and their horses! They also like to have debates on what is better - Ford or Chevy! Way to go boys! Keep up the good work!
Jon B. - Jon B. has been voted student of the week by his first grade class and teacher, Mrs. Duehring. He sets a good example for the entire class with his excellent behavior. He is a friend to everyone and is always willing to help out. He always tries to do his best and his favorite subject is math. He's enjoying being a new cub scout. He is a "first class" student in every way.
Sophia P. - Sophia P. is this week’s first class student from Ms. Campbell’s 1st grade class. She is a hard worker and great listener. Sophia always tries her best when working in the classroom and even helps other students that may need a helping hand. Sophia’s favorite thing about school is Science. She likes doing experiments and learning about weather. When Sophia is at home she likes to play outside on her play set. Keep up the hard work and good listening Sophia. Way to show your first class behavior!
Nick W. - The First Class Student of the week for Mrs. Adams class is Nick W. Nick works very hard at school. He is a great role model for his classmates. Nick always completes his homework and turns it in on time. He is a good friend to his classmates. Nick enjoys all sports, whether he is outside playing kickball at recess or playing baseball for Richfield. He also likes to spend time with his family. Nick loves to be silly and have fun outside of school with his friends and family. I am proud of you, Nick. Keep working hard.
Morgan R. - Morgan R. is the First Class Student in Mrs. Brezonick's 2nd Grade Class. She works very hard every day to do her best. She is very nice and helps her friends. Morgan completes her class work and homework neatly and on time. Morgan’s favorite subjects are math and reading. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is a good role model and shows first class behavior in and out of school. Keep up the good work.
