Welcome to Miss Schumacher’s Early Childhood Special Education class! As young learners, the 3 year olds in my classroom will be exploring what school and learning is all about. We will be focusing many self-help and social skill in order to get us ready for 4 year old Kindergarten!

 

About Miss Schumacher

 I graduated from UW-Stevens Point in December 2009 with a major in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Early Childhood Special Education. For the year and a half following my graduation, I was a substitute teacher in the Fond du Lac and Oshkosh Area School Districts.

 

This is my first year teaching and I am very happy to be working at Plat Elementary, which is an amazing school with wonderful teachers.  I am also very excited to be helping the young learners get ready to be successful throughout their school years!

 

Besides teaching, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my fiancé. Next year will be a big year for me since I will not only be finishing my first year as a teacher, but I will also be getting married in the summer!! When I have time between school and planning a wedding, I enjoy playing volleyball, going shopping, and relaxing with the people I care about.
