I'm Mike Mierow. I am the middle school math teacher. I have been with the Richfield School District for 15 years. I enjoy teaching and I enjoy the interaction with students. I run an engaging class where students are allowed to express themselves beyond the realm of mathematics. My hobbies include being in the outdoors (boating, fishing, hunting, hiking), sports of all kinds, writing (short stories), and photogarphy. The vast majority of the photos found on my web site were taken by me. During the school year, you will find me outside of the classroom being a referee at school sponsored flag football, coaching basketball, and umpiring school sponsored softball games. I encourage students and adults, as well, to exercise and keep in shape. I personally play basketball in a morning "fun" league, softball on a competitive co-ed team, and I enjoy exercising at home, including jogging and using light weights. And I love attending Brewers Baseball games at Miller Park, as well as trying my best to get to at least one Green Bay Packer football game each season.

The great thing about teaching is that you meet so many
wonderful people. You watch young people grow, become beautiful,
become successful, and get married. I am a lucky guy.
