Course Expectations

  1.   Show RESPECT to everyone in the room at all times.
  2. Try your best
  3.  Raise your hand to talk, wait your turn, and share your ideas.
  4. Follow all School Rules and policies in your student handbook.
  5. Be in the classroom and seated when the bell rings with something to write with, notebook, and a positive attitude.  
  6. Complete your schoolwork on time.  No late work in the Middle School. When you are sick please come to me when you return for your work. 
  7. Participate in Class

       

      Consequences for not meeting expectations

      1.         Warning- name on the board - lost of daily points

      2.         Check mark added to name:  Detention.

      3.         Progress report sent home and parental contact

       

      Rewards

      1.        Good Grades

      2.        Added Points to daily participation grade 

      3.        Positive note home (progress report and report cards)

      4.        Classroom rewards – jeopardy every two weeks if the class is good. 

      5.        Personal Satisfaction.

       

      Grading Procedure

      1.        Grades for this class will be a combination of class work, participation, projects, test, and classroom behavior. Everything you do will be assigned a point value. 

      A=100-93               B= 92-85        C= 84-75         D=74-65        F=64 and below

      2.        Assignments are to be completed on time. NO LATE WORK.
