Your job is to report a current news story to the class.  The story must be something you read in a paper, magazine, or website.  Each of the following will be worth 5 points for a total of 40 points. 

 

Follow the following format.

1. Name of article:
2. What magazine, newspaper, or website?and date.
3. Type of story : The Category you signed up for on the sheet of  paper.
4. Report for the class: When reporting the story you should cover the basic 5w’s (who, what, when, where, and why) and how in your report.   Not a repeat of the article, but a summary of the article. 
5. Why did you choose this article?  What interested you about this article?
6. Why is this important to our future?
7. Question for class?  - At the end of your report you will need to ask the class one discussion question.  The class must be able to answer the question with their own opinion. 
8. The presentation: Voice is clear and understandable. or MLA citation
