GET INVOLVED IN RAPT:
Make A Difference In Your School: There’s no better way to
know what is happening in your school and make a difference by participating in
RAPT.
Watch yourself grow: By volunteering with
RAPT, you have the opportunity to put your skills and hobbies to good use for a
good cause – your child and all children in the school.
Speak Up: RAPT is a forum for exchanging ideas, you
are encouraged to make suggestions. RAPT can be a way for you to more
effectively suggest change at your child’s school.
Witness Improvement: By getting involved at
your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive
changes. RAPT plays an important role in fundraising to provide building
improvements, curriculum-based programs and social events – all vital to a
school’s success.
Tap into a Network: Share ideas, concerns and
experiences with other parents and teachers. RAPT functions are opportunities
to meet other parents and teachers, build rapport and discuss issues that are
on your mind.
Be a role model: By becoming a RAPT
member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on
education

FUNDRAISING VOLUNTEERS AND COMMITTEES. Fundraising events
provide a valuable service to allow RAPT to reach its goals to help our
children, teaches and schools. We need parents to implement school improvement
programs, fundraiser, coordinate events or assist on a committee.
Participation in RAPT requires only a few hours a month of your
time, but makes a big difference to the school and your child. Research studies
prove that kids do better when parents are involved. There are no membership
dues and you are welcome to attend a meeting any time. The success of all our
programs depends on our great volunteers. Now is your time to get involved a
MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
THROUGH YOUR SUPPORT. Through the support of parents and teachers,
RAPT has been able to maintain many school programs and events for our
children. Our fundraising efforts (Kringle sales, family night, spaghetti
dinner, SCRIP, market day, etc) have allowed us to fund school computers, music
and playground equipment, field trips, and more.
In addition, your efforts to participate at home by collecting empty
inkjet cartridges, Box Tops, Campbell’s Soup labels, Kemps/Golden Guernsey milk
caps and using SCRIP money is an ongoing contribution that MAKES A DIFFERENCE!
