The Richfield Rocket Club has two teams (7th and 8th grade) that each compete in two major events:Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC), and Rockets for Schools. In order to qualify for the TARC finals, our teams design, build, and test rockets that carry a raw egg payload to a specific altitude over a defined flight duration.  This competition involves many launches throughout the school year to qualify for the finals in May - fun stuff! 

  The 7th grade team also builds and launches a 6 foot rocket that carries a student-designed experimental payload for the Rockets for Schools competition in Sheboygan.  The lucky 8th grade team has the same challenge, but with an almost 8 foot rocket!

 We raise money for our rocket competition fees, materials, and rocket motors by hosting Movie Nights at Richfield School.
